My family and I are still waiting for the Judgement of Possession to be completed.  I think the initial process started this past September, 2010.

My DH just spoke with my attorney's assistant and was told that the process was held up because taxes had to be paid.  But, it was later disovered that this was an error because I did not have to pay taxes on the property.  The secretary  had just gotten the tax receipt and would be mailing all of the paperwork to the court on today.

So, now, the next step is to send the paperwork to the Court and await for the judge's signature.  The employee was unsure as to how long this should take.

Any suggestions as to what we can do to hurry this process along?

TIA.

Any other comments from anyone else?

Tia.

What Parish or County is it in?  I suspect the answer varies between areas.
