Finally - the functionality I wanted. The lastet ativity feed , located in the lower left corner of the home page, has been used by many to get a quick glance at the goings on of GHS. Changes were recently implemented that made it display too many characters. However, now, I can control how many characters are displayed. So this tool is once again the useful tool it was.

 

Also added to this is a status bar. You can update the GHS community in a quick and easy status update. If you have a facebook/twitter profiles, you can also check the appropriate box if you would like for the update to be displayed on either of those networks.

Thanks, Keith.  That is an improvement.  Please consider tinkering with the number of characters as my preference would be to see more "recent activity" listings at the expense of a few less characters per each.

i can't go any lower than the 100 it displays unless it is 0 characters. Thoughts?

I don't think reading the post is necessary.  Most people are looking for who and where.  The link to the post is most important but that's just my opinion.  I would rather see more recent activity history than more "content" on just a few.
