Does anyone know of new lease offers in the Mineral Springs area in Lincoln Parish?
Are WILDHORSE or MEMORIAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT buying up mineral rights in these areas?

Lee Ann, I haven't seen any leases recorded for your specific area the last time I looked.  Your minerals are generally on the eastern edge of the area of interest at this time.  I'm basing this on the fact that Mineral Springs appears to be roughly located in Sections 9,10,15 & 16 -19N - 2W.  If that's accurate the area that Wildhorse has designated for possible seismic testing is just to your west by a couple of miles and the closest wells are another four or more miles further west.  There are other companies exploring the CV/LCV horizons in this general area.

I suggest that you join the Lincoln Parish Group and review the discussions concerning Wildhorse.  Use this link:  http://www.gohaynesvilleshale.com/group/lincolnparish

Yes PETROHAWK had leased the minerals back in 2006 or 2008 but lease expired and was never well was never drilled. We own in both Mineral Springs and in Dubach off of Airline Road. Hope they will be doing some in our area soon!
I know XTO has producing wells in both areas.

Are you sure Petrohawk had leases in the area?

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
