Skip-- as long as you have been around in the business I am surprised you have no royalties with production--Especially the time you spend on this site and knowledge you share-----  I do hope you have minerals that one day result in you getting a well. Hope a Happy New Year for you and all on this site.Mybe one day I to will get a Shale H well.

adubu, I have great H Shale under my quarter acre suburban residential lot.  One day it will be included in a unit and I will get 8 wells.  It will not make me rich but it will buy a lot of gasoline and a few good meals in the French Quarter.  I hope the operator waits until nat gas is at least $6/mcf.  Happy New Year back at ya!

Skip, I wanted to add HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours. Also THANK YOU for your invaluable postings throughout the past years.

I am very optomistic about the oil business in the coming new year. I expect to see some new operators and continued increase in activity by those active in the past. Especially more horizontal drilling in new plays.
