He's da man !!!!!!!
I'll never understand why any American would not be on board with the Pickens Plan. The one and ONLY way to keep our head above water is to stop buying foreign oil and use our own natural resources.
Appreciate your post william!
Pickens' plan may not be perfect, but it is certainly better than what we have now. And by that I mean we do not have a coherent energy strategy.

Just imagine the investment which could be made in our infrastructure if we made a national policy decision to develop our energy grid and resources, especially NG to replace so much imported oil we convert to gasoline/diesel.

That we are not doing so is going to be utterly amazing to historians of this time and energy policy now.
If Israel Clobbers Iran over their nukes, we'll have wished there was more foresight of our leadership on energy independence.
Anyone have any idea what a barrel of oil would rise too if this happens?
Every time oil goes way up, they always say it will take years to produce our own. Seems like they ought to be doing something about it right now, huh?

Natural gas is much cleaner than coal even without much effort at making it so.
