I'm sure you are aware of the Deshotels well. Does this mean that we now have a double play TMS/Eutaw and Austin/Selma Chalk developing in this area. With a chalk well that has 630 barrels of oil production per day it would seem logical that there would be interest in extending the play East and West and South. Just trying to connect the dots and looking for your input in this.

Yes. I'm a participant in the Deshotels #1 and the generator of the prospect. Anadarko has been aggressively leasing across the Austin Chalk fairway as far east as the western boundary of East Feliciana Parish. In Q4 of 2010, they completed two excellent wells just east of the Tx/La border. Much more to come in that play.

The initial rates were listed under your Austin Chalk forum. Yes, they appear to be holding up. Anadarko has had great success over the past five years on the southern side of Brookeland Field

I knew you and Jerry were involved in the Deshotels well. You confirmed my suspicions. Thanks for the additional info.
I do have a question. Why was the liner cemented in the Deshotels well? When I saw that on the completion report I could not believe it. Are there any plans to frack the well and break the cement?
