Doubting Thomas please look at the sky is it blue or gray? Each day brings a different tone. Do you get up every morning and see a red sky? CHK bought DFW airport at the prices we are looking at today and they paid them $10,000 per acre. You can just shoot the dog and don't worry about feeding him anymore or you can wait and when he gets hungry enough he will eat.

You must not have been on here long or you would have seen inappropriate.
This is a great topic for this site, in my opinion.
Too funny & appropriate!!! Earl
Yea,I am waiting for the summer of '09 too.
If that ones not any good then I guess 2010 could be my friend.

If the Haynesville doesnt matter any more, could I interest you in a 10/10 for $100 an acre ? May even throw in a bone or two to get the dogs to bitein'. Please post your real name & number so the 8000 landmen on this site can get in touch with you. They may even give you $125 if you are lucky.

Confucius says......Not all landowners have a clue. Just so you know where he was coming from.

Hey Bro Earl,
Got to type and run. Hope things are going well. Later.

I was just contacted this evening by Twin Cities and offered $2000 an acre with 22%. I was almost tempted,[not], to say yes come on out. I was also told that East 80 Group was no longer in existance. Wrong again.
On Jan. 20, I was handed a lease agreement for the same amount as you mentioned, $2,000 an acre, but with 22.5% royalties. The landman was not pushy at all; said it made no difference to him if I signed or not. I said I'd wait. But I find it interesting that he is out there making offers at all.
Not to be a spoil sport, but I heard the sky was going to be falling and then sticking itself all over everything tonight!
Yeah I know I have to go in early to work tomorrow because the folks around here can`t drive when the cold ice hits. Also the female rep told me that I had only an 1/4 acre,[Country Place sub in Bossier Parrish], wrong again on her part as I have the actual Docs from the Parrish showing what I have. She also said they were drilling soon, crock.
Looks like most of the bad weather is going north of us here in the Shreveport area. Maybe I`ll go ahead and call the Twin Cities rep out for coffee and cake. Ha!
