i am new to this so please help me like i said in my last post i live in greenwood and i would like to know if the well out there is in my section and if it is up and running?
Good news for west Shreveport, talked to Chesapeake today to confirm drill site in Sec. 14 T17N R15W Rig #48 Nomac. Just drilled one in
Sec. 23 T17N R15W -this is just of Greenwood Rd, west of Pines Rd.
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
