I have been informed by Mr. Smith at Jeems Bayou Production that they have sent document to Clerk of Court of Columbia County acknowledging their termination of all leases in this field. This document was mailed yesterday.
I want to thank everyone who played roles in getting our land free from the early 1950's leases. All of us certainly owe a debt of gratitude to Bruce and Peggy Malach. Even though I have never met them personally I know they are very good neighbors. Thanks for all your help. Now we can all move on to the next chapter. I appreciate all of you who have contacted me through this site and by phone during the past couple of years. Hope to meet more of you in person at some future date.
I also want to thank Tony Allen for the assistance and counsel he has provided. I am certain that all the landowners in Chalybeate Springs Field appreciate his yeoman efforts on their behalf.
