TD,

It looks like you are correct. They are calling it the Edwards. That's not on my stratigraphic list. So here I go assuming again. It must be what we call the TMS. It looks like they perforated two areas of 20 Ft. or so and fraced each in a vertical hole. Am I correct on that?

Linda, I'm in East Baton Rouge Parish. I just went to a pre-app. conference for a Tuscaloosa unit that showed the faulting thru Tusc. If the Tusc. is as faulted as they say then the Chalk should be very fractured. I would agree with their faulting I just don't agree that the Tusc. will be productive where they are drilling. Don't understand them spending that kind of money on a small bright spot on 3-D seismic.

Thanks to everyone for all of the information.  I didn't realize that they were leasing on hwy. 28 west.  My land is southeast of there.  I actually don't have a clue as to whether that well is in the Austin Chalk or like two dogs said in the tuscaloosa marine shale or eagleford.  I basically have no knowledge or information to share, I am just enjoying everybody else's knowledge.

Joe, I grew up in east baton rouge parish, in baker.  that was a long, long time ago.

I'm between Baker and Port Hudson. So at one time we were almost neighbors.
Hey, Linda we will figure it all out at some point in time.

Joe, Two Dogs, besides being a Pirate, is one of the most experienced and reliable industry members on GHS.  He often knows much more than he can say here.

A word to the wise is sufficient.

Skip, I'm just trying to sort things out without any logs. I'm not being critical of what TD is saying - I just don't think Indigo drilled  deep enough for TMS or Eagleford. The Total Depth of the Bentley well is over 1000 ft. above what appears to be the vertical depth that the Chalk shows in the Anadarko GASRS wells. And TMS and Eagleford are below the Chalk. I don't have any logs from that area.

And yes, I know TD is very knowledgeable. I have emailed with him a couple of times outside of the treads and he has been very open and informative about what he does and where he's working. I was trying to keep this in the tread so others would contribute to my guessing.

It will be interesting to see what Indigo declares when they decide to release the information on the well. Obviously, they are holding the info tight for a reason. Maybe leases or unitization or no pipeline or whatever. Again I'm guessing.

Joe here is the study I was reading.
