Completion:
Rusk County

SandRidge Exploration has completed three wells in Rusk County.


The Gladney Gas Unit Well No. 17 hit 10,611 feet 6.4 miles west of Tatum and potentialed 1.038 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.


The Gladney Gas Unit Well No. 25 hit 10,615 feet 6.4 miles west of Tatum and potentialed 1.815 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke. These two wells are in the Oak Hill Field with production in the Cotton Valley.


The Spikes Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 24 hit 10,816 feet 5.1 miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden Field. This well potentialed 983,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Developmental:
Rusk County

Fidelity Exploration will drill the Kangerga Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 to 12,000 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Minden in the B.A. Vansickle Survey, A-769. This well is in the Southeast Brachfield (Cotton Valley) Field

Cabot Oil completed the Birdwell Gas Unit Well No. 11H to 10,558 feet 2.77 miles northwest of Minden in the Southeast Brachfield Field. On a 34/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.692 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Riverstone Energy completed the Tatum Well No. 1 to 11,873 feet 1.3 miles northwest of Tatum in the Carthage Field. On an 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 852,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Completion:

GMT Exploration completed the Garrison Well No. 3 hit 11,926 feet .7 miles east of Arlam in the Naconiche Creek Field. On a 10/64-inch choke the well potentialed 515,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated.

Developmental:

Goodrich Petroleum will drill the Craig G.U.-Travis crow GU (SA) Well No. 1 H to 16,000 feet in a lease 4.8 miles southwest of Henderson in the T.S. Gray Survey, A-334. it is in the East Henderson (Cotton Valley) Field.


Sojitz Energy will drill The Brady Well No. 8H to 14,725 feet 10.3 miles southeast of Henderson in the Southeast Brachfield (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the E.C. Lane Survey, A-490.

Andarko E&P completed the Major Kennedy Estate Well No. 30HHto 11,376 18.8 miles northeast of Henderson in the North Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.091 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale.

Thanks for posting this David. I hold royalties on "Major Kennedy Estate Wells" I didn't know they where drilling this one. Guess I better get my fanny up to East Texas and check out whats going on in Rusk & Shelby Counties.

The Carthage Field has seen the Bailey Sheppard GU 2 Well No. 12HH completed by Andarko E&P to 11,339 feet 21.7 miles northeast of Henderson. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.205 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


Reserve Management completed the Cornelius Well No. 1 to 7,683 feet nine miles east of Henderson in the Minden Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well flowed with 40 barrels of crude. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated.


SandRidge Exploration completed three wells in the Oak Hill Field.


The Shelton Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 5 hit 10,608 feet 5.6 miles west of Tatum. On a 32/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.740 million cubic feet of gas.


The Cherokee Water Company Unit Well No. 23 hit 10,623 feet 5.8 miles northwest of Tatum. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.276 million cubic feet of gas.


The Gladney Gas Unit Well No. 22 hit 10,600 feet 5.6 miles west of Tatum and potentialed 2.114 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Cabot Oil & Gas completed the Wilder Gas Unit Well No. 2 and the Jarrell Gas Unit Well No. 110 in the Southeast Brachfield Field.


The No. 2 hit 10,860 feet 2.7 miles northwest of Minden and potentialed 1.687 million cubic feet of gas on a 42/64-inch choke.


The No. 110 hit 11,740 feet 3.5 miles northwest of Minden and potentialed 2.280 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Sojitz Energy Venture completed the White Well No. 3to 11,595 feet 11 miles southeast of Rusk in the Minden Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the potentialed 950,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.


Exploration & Production completed the Kangerga Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17 to 10,950 feet in a lease 2.4 miles northeast of Minden, in the Southeast Brachfieldt Field. This well potentialed 917,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley.

The A.B. Taylor Well No. 3H hit 15,128 feet 6.7 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. On a 34/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.134 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.

Rusk County

Harrell Gas Unit 2 Well 19 is 1.73 miles northeast of Minden to 10,950 feet. Fidelity completed this well in the Southeast Brachfield Field. On 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 76,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Cabot Oil & Gas completed three wells in the Southeast Brachfield Field. Green Gas Unit 1 Well 105 is 2.4 miles west of Minden at 11,010 feet and potentialed 1.300 million cubic feet of gas on a 36/64-inch choke. Green Gas Unit Well 111 is 2.55 miles northwest of Minden at 10,932 feet and potentialed 1.404 million cubic feet of gas on 28/64-inch choke. The Wilder Gas Unit Well 103 is 2.62 miles northwest of Minden at 10,870 feet and potentialed 828,000 cubic feet of gas on 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Southeast Brachfield Field has seen Cabot Oil & Gas complete Green Gas Unit 1 Well No. 103 to 10,965 feet and Green Gas Unit 1 Well No. 108 to 10,915 feet. No. 103 is 2.6 miles northwest from Minden and potentialed 887,000 cubic feet of gas on 40/64-inch choke. No. 108 is located 2.67 miles northwest of Minden at 10,915-feet and potentialed 1.056 million cubic feet of gas on 48/64-inch choke. Wilder Gas Unit Well No. 114 is 2.71 miles northwest from Minden at 10,891 feet and potentialed 1.542 million cubic feet of gas on a 42/64-inch choke. Production is in Cotton Valley formation.


Sojitz Energy Venture completed Brady 5 in Minden Field. This well is 3.1 miles northwest from Minden at 11,860 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 2.567 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.


When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Northeast Trawick Gas Unit No. 3 Well 3 potentialed 560,000 cubic feet of gas. XTO completed it to 9,500 feet 4.8 miles southwest of Mt. Enterprise in Trawick Field. Production is in Travis Peak formation.
