Devon Energy completed the Adams Well No. 1H to 16,315 feet 5.7 miles northwest of Timpson in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.500 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Developmental:

Shelby County

In a lease five miles southeast of Shelbyville, XTO Energy will drill the Huskies DU Well No. 1H to 19,400 feet in the Carthage (Hayneville Shale) Field. The well is in the T.B. Choate Survey, A-111.


Devon Energy will drill the C.C. Locke Well No. 1H to 18,500 feet 4.3 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This is in the J. Inman Survey, A-378.


The Hoosiers DU Well No. 1H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 22,800 feet 8.7 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the Rusk CSL Survey, A-591.

Unit Petroleum completed two new wells. The R. Kidd Well No. 1 hit 11,750 feet 5.4 miles northwest of Center in the Carthage Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 122,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


The Smith Well No. 1 hit 11,765 feet eight miles west of Center in the Stockman. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.328 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Devon Energy completed the Snell Well No. 1H to 6,947 feet .6 miles south of Neuville in the Angie Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 3.500 million cubic feet of gas in the James Lime.


Devon Energy completed the Motley Well No. 1H to 12,522 feet .7 miles north of Neuville in the Carthage Field On an adjustable choke well potentialed 4.000 million cubic feet of gas in the Carthage Field. Production was in the Haynesville Shale.y County


Developmental:

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Catherine Well No. 1H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 19,000 feet 8.8 miles southwest of Huxley in the J.B. Tucker Survey, A-721.


TXO Energy will drill the Bearcats DU Well No. 1H will be drilled to 17,600 feet 3.9 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the B. Odell, Hrs. Survey, A-534.


In a lease five miles southwest of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, Noble Energy will drill the Nancy Lou McLendon Unit Well No. 1H to 12,000 feet in the A. Lindsey Survey, A-423.

On a 24/64 choke the Michael Baldwin Michael Well No. 1H potentialed 8.279 million cubic feet of gas. Noble Energy completed the well to 11,787 feet 3.2 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.



Developmental:
Chesapeake will drill the Cartherine Well No. 1H to 19,000 feet 8.8 miles southwest of Huxley in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the J.B. Tucker Survey, A-721.


XTO Energy will drill the Boilermakers DU Well No. 1H to 20,708 feet in a lease 8.2 miles southwest of Shelbyville, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the S. English Survey, A-182.


XTO Energy will drill the Gamecocks DU Well No. 1H to 20,200 feet 4.4 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the C. Lindsey Survey, A-417.


Devon Energy will drill the Bell Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 18,000 feet 10.1 miles west of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the H. West Survey, A-759.

Maximus Operating completed two wells. The May Unit Well No. 1-C and the May Unit Well No. 1-T are 4.2 miles northeast of Paxton.


The No. 1-C hit 10,504 feet in the Joaquin Field and potentialed 129,000 cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.


The No. 1-C hit 10,504 feet in the Carthage Field and potentialed 264,000 cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

EOG Resources completed the Walker Unit Well No. 1H to 15,750 feet 5.9 miles northeast of Center in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.311 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


Unit Petroleum completed the Tucker Well No. 1 to 12,255 feet 8 miles west of Center in the Stockman Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 47,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Noble Energy will drill the Mary Harris Well No. 2H to 11,800 feet 2.5 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the T. Haley Survey, A-286.


In a lease 4.5 miles east of Shelby, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the PDU "D" Well No. 1 will be drilled by Newfield Exploration. This well will hit 13,500 feet in the B.H. Simpson Survey, A-635 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.


XTO Energy will drill the Pirates DU Well No. 1H to 20,000 feet 9.8 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the E. Burns Survey, A-1086.


Forest Oil will drill the May Unit Well No. 2 to 11,250 feet three miles northwest of Joaquin in a wildcat field in the J.R. Haley Survey, A-284.


Chesapeake Operating will drill the Herone Well No. 1H to 16,000 feet 4.3 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the W. Leech Survey, A-431.


Devon Energy will drill the Patricia Samford Well No. 1H to 19,000 feet 3.8 miles southeast of Timpson in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the J. Richards Survey, A-595.

Devon Energy completed the Whitton Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 11,635 feet 9.5 miles southeast to Center in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 6.650 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.


Unit Petroleum completed the Gree Well No. 1 to 11,500 feet 5.7 miles northwest of Center in the Stockman Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 26,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

In a lease .4 miles north of Paroon, in the Huxley (6100) Field, the Common SWD Well No. 4 will be drilled by Common Disposal to 4,200 feet in the Jonas Harrison Survey, A-306.


The B. Harris B Well No. 1H will be drilled to 13,200 feet 13.8 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Southwestern Energy will drill this well in the J. Buckley Survey, A-41.


XTO Energy will drill the Cornhuskers DU Well No. 1H to 19,000 feet 10.7 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J. Anderson Survey, A-5.
