Define "Hunt" please....Could that be the reason surveyor type people have been accross the street sitting up high tech equipment at an expired permit well site? Plus I have been told by Chesapeake that they are not interested in my area, yet the Roy Martin well is less than two miles as the crow flies and they have also just completed a new smaller pipeline connecting to the large pipeline that crosses way back on a corner of my land. Something is going on but I have only received a few lame offers for my lease and mineral interests combined which I refused. I live in Section 27 16 16 and any company is welcome to sink a bit in my living room floor if they want to although the area near the pipeline would be more suitable and less disruptive to watching tv.

A friend living behind wal-mart in the Ardis Taylor neighborhood got $4000 acre with 25% royalties. They only had .28 acre and got $1126.

How many other folks online here only have a small tract of land (less than an acre) in the city limits of Shreveport?

If i know what other folks in my situation are getting then i could get an idea of what would be a fair offer.

With Southern Hills looking to unify maybe we could couple this info with our new bargaining strength.

Just an idea,

I am in Southern Hills and only have 1/2 and acre. Does anyone else on this forum have such a small tract of land and if so how much, if anything, have they been offered?

there are cases where people compare the rising gases during drilling to wells drilled close by and make very questionable estimates. a lot of these people have been in the business long enough to maybe make rough estimates such as that. i bet that is what your source was saying.
