Today I got my second letter from oil companies trying to buy part of my royalties. It's gone from 5 to 6 thousand dollars for 1/8 interest.

Talked to some guys putting in stakes on Elaine Drive today and they said sesmic testing should be done very soon. Stakes and ribbons are everywhere on hyw 169 and 789.

Does anyone know anything about the well they just put up a few days ago on hwy 789 a little bit south of the prison and Eddie Jones Park. It should be in section 15-15-16 and since my section is 15-15-17 I wonder if they will move into my section next. This new rig is very close to the highway and behind it there is a huge pad already constructed. A pipeline also runs alongside this new well. It looks like activity in this area is really picking up.

They moved a rig in before daylight Tues. morning and were drilling Wed. morning.A large load of drill pipe went in today.

Is there anyone in Section28 T15N R16W? They are fixing to drill a well on Johns Gin Rd.They already have the pad and the drilling permit.

Sorry, a bit of brain freeze here. Look just up above these comments and you'll see Skip's topic. I've got the BNA on my favorites if you can't get it I'll supply you a link.

Ser #'s would be greatly appreciated. I have a difficult time figuring that one out on SONRIS.

Did you see the recent post by someone (Paul?) saying that Petrohawk has been in touch with some in Ellerbe Rd. area? And I think it was also mentioned that they have been "doorknocking" in Doyline/Webster Parish.

James - will be keeping my eye out for it. Skip Peel had Broadmoor Advocate's link somewhere here, do you have it. They should be publishing it soon.

BTW, I've been hearing those rigs in the early morning. Does that clanging persist like that every 2 seconds every day? I can only hear it when traaffic noise is down out on Kings' Hwy.

My thought exactly, Wanda. By the way, anyone here in section 32, 16N, 14W?

What has happen to south caddo group? No one is reporting on anything.I think everyone needs to comunicate with each other in order to find out whats going on.When they were building the road almost in front of our house, there were a lot of big trucks coming and going, one of them ran off in a ditch right in front of our house. They drive on your side of the road, and speeds like crazy down johns gin rd.One of the deputy shreiffs said he didn't like that they were putting so much water and dirt on the road, because it causes wrecks.
