Wow, that is amazing. Curious to see if it gets to the 30,000/acre range. It looks to be right around the corner.

Tommy,
I have property around that area. What is the highest offered you've heard? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

A group has formed and is meeting Thursday night at 6 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church at 235 Flournoy Lucas Rd in the gym. This will be our 3rd meeting and it is not too late to join us. We are, thus far, for the Forbing area and surrounding sections. Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 of T16N R14 W & 13W. We are still gathering info from property owners. The group has reached a concensus that we do not at this time wish to hire a negotiator or attorney. Please plan to attend if you are in this area and have not leased your property. Contact 687-3462 for info

I have a current offer from a Oil company for 12,000 an acre with 25% or 15,000 an acre with a lower Royalty. They said that the cashiers check would be to me within two weeks of signing the lease. This is a 3 year lease.

Does your group have an offer from a Oil Company ??
Comment by Rocker on July 7, 2008 at 8:45
The Grawood meeting is with Neighborhood group - no oil man and no LLC involved. No 4% of bonus. Just a $25 for the Lawyer fees.

Is the meeting at Grawood Church with a Oil Company Rep. or just another meeting with a Oil Man trying to make money??
Comment by Rocker on July 7, 2008 at 4:24
The Grawood church meeting is for those in Keithville, LA tract 22,23,24 Grawood neighborhood, Metropolitan estates, Breakenridge area, and Haywood that want to sign up as a group. I guess it's a last call out for those who want to sign with 300+ neighbors.
