Skip, what is your take on XTO permit applications labeled CV SU at 13,000 feet. Isn't the cotton valley formation in that region several thousand feet above the permit depth. I would think they would be approaching smackover depths here?
Jack. My take is that this is a CV horizontal well. The existing XTO vertical CV wells in the vicinity have perforations ranging in depth from about 11,000' to 11,700'. The 13,000' does not relate to TVD (True Vertical Depth), it relates to MD (Measured Depth).
