Bill where did you find a map of all the leased land?

Comment by david crocket on April 5, 2013 at 2:42

Maybe because the nursery people own such big blocks of land and they probably did not want to lease.

After looking at a map with oil leased land, does anyone have a clue why none of the land around Lecompte has not been leased? Halcon is all south of Lecompte and EOG is to the east.

The gender of a member is not important.  Let's please keep this friendly and civil.  I like the way Jean qualifies his/her comments as "rumor", and the way Skip explains where his info comes from.  This is a great forum and there are many who benefit from it.

I'm just passing on what I "hear", so everybody take it with a grain of salt...I could get something wrong or my "birdie" could be fed some rotten bird seed....but I will keep on letting ya'll know what I can..I think it's going to be good....

The last status report to the state for the Broadway was February 25, Status 31.  Tuscaloosa Trend has two mentions of the well after that date.  March 4 - Frac in progress.  March 24 - Flow back.  The state well scout reports are updated each Thursday and there is no new entry for the Broadway today, April 4.  If Halcon has flowed the well continuously it should be near clean up and ready for the state allowable test and final completion report.  Both should be filed soon.

Jean, I think your are the only one who knows what's going on! Thanks!

The slanted trucks are water tankers.  And since there is no report of a frac operation for the Broadway I suspect they were there for temporary storage which is common.  I haven't checked Tuscaloosa Trend in some time.  What does Kirk have to say about the Broadway?

I don't even really know what a slanted box trailer is, but I think that maybe they could have been hauling fracking sand???

Comment by Ron on April 4, 2013 at 1:01
I don't know what the 21 Semi-Trucks parked side by side with the slanted box trailers contain, but they were on Broadway's a couple weeks ago.
