Ginger,
Thanks for getting back. We will keep you updated on any new discoveries. Are you currently living in the area, Texas or LA.

Ginger,
Thanks for the map showing "Sabine Island". This was the same map I was referencing, and I believe I had reviewed the same information from the same source you had. We have land and mineral right interests on the Texas and Louisiana side, pretty much in the general vicinity as what was shown as "Sabine Island". Don't know if this is a positive position to be in, or not, but I sure am hoping for the best in regards to the Haynesville Shale being underneath there. Thanks for the map reference; maybe I'll order a map from ShaleGeo before too long, and throw the question at him again.
Thanks,
Shelby

Ginger,
I have found information before on a corporate web-site which defined the area of "Sabine Island. I don't know if this is the peak of the Sabine Uplift they refer to, or, a seperate formation. I wished Jay would have clarified. The location I see mapped spans the TX & LA state line and looks like it centers in Sabine and Shelby Cty. on the Texas Side, and South Desoto and Northern Sabine Parrish on the LA side. I think I found the original map posting on the Comstock Energy site, and will post it to you if I can find it again.
Thanks,
Shelby
