"So they only lacked 15 feet getting to the vertical depth that they wanted before getting stuck. Is that correct?  Then it looks like they had only planned to go an additional 57 feet. Am I correct?  Is that unusual?"

I believe that more companies will try to get into the AC trend that EOG is pursuing - but my guess is that you will see a large broker group looking to get leases and then flip them to operating companies that are ready to spend the capital to drill these expensive wells.

Key to the AC for this play is not as much depth (although that is a factor) but the reservoir properties in the AC, i.e. matrix porosity and permeability.

The lack of well control will negatively impact areas where this is not sufficient well data to evaluate the matrix reservoir issue

David, which Broadway well?  There may be more than one in Rapides Parish.  There are numerous Broadway wells in other parishes.  Give me a well serial number or a section-township-range so I don't have to spend a lot of time looking.
