AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Never seen the like of this. Did you keep your minerals? Are you retired now or still working? Never be another poor day.
drop me a line when you can.
Yes, drilling on the 20 well has been ongoing since SPUD (beginning) date of 4/25. Boy, you talk about NOISE !! I can hear the thing at times just sitting in my living room 'bout 1/2 mile away. Can't imagine what those people right next door to the thing are going through. I figure they should be through with drilling within in the next 30 days or so. No problems that I am aware of.
Not so with the Sec. 22 Marr well. I spoke with Marr just the other day. He's totally disgusted. Fracing company have had problems with the coil tubing (don't know much about this, however), and they are having to retrieve ("chew") or grind the thing out a piece at a time. He showed me a chunk of it. Boy what a mess ! He said to date they have spent an additional $6 mil in this effort.
Despite a concerted effort by the majority of mineral/landowners in 20 objecting to the adding of 29, the proposal by CHK was approved on the spot, let's say, 'cause as grandma used to say " . . . thems that gots the gold -- makes the rules !! " How true.
Miss talking to you at J J's in the mornings, but I'm still aggravatin' sis. She is such a nice friendly person!
I had heard that you sold your place. Where are you going to?
