"Your section 2 has one original Legacy well that does not share production with other sections. It is SN 243197. The other 2 wells that have been drilled share production with section 35 to your north (SN 251753) and section 11 to your…"
"thanks, Jay. I started a thread about the first of the 3 wells listed below last year because the well had a very unusual decline curve - almost none for the first 18 months. .I will accept that it was an extraordinary well, but…"
"Thanks for the quick responses. if i emailed Vine landowner relations, would they tell me if these wells are intentionally choked, assuming they aren't shut down as well? In the past, I've had little luck with the landowner…"
"I would check but I am remote here in Houston and don't have access. I can't imagine that a well that makes almost a BCF the first month declines that sharply, but maybe. If I was Vine and did not have to sell at these prices,…"
"the allocations aren't my concern - just looking at total production from 1st month through the 4th month for two different CULs (not the same sections, but from the same pad). Shocked that the wells would drop to substantially in 4…"
I have a small interest in 2 new CULs drilled by Vine. The first month's production was strong, but I'm confused by the production since then. How can you tell in the operator has choked back production intentionally, or if there are problems with the two wells? Here's the production to date for the two wells.LEASE\UNIT\WELL PRODUCTIONRPT DATELUW CODESTORAGE FACDOC USEWELL CNTOPENING STKOIL PROD(BBL)GAS PROD(MCF)DISPOSITIONCLOSING…See More
"no interpretation from me. Way outside my expertise.
My minerals in Sabine are covered by 3 of those Vine 12 month permits, taken out on 2/17/20. Vine drilled 2 others in the same sections (3 sections lined up N/S) last year. …"
"It seems to me that a significant factor for mineral buyers to consider is what company is the current holder/operator of the lease on the mineral tract being evaluated.
I'm not interested in selling any of my minerals, but the situation if…"
"so many issues, so little time.
Just a few comments. The federal government has designated "critical supplies" that it requires be manufactured either in the US or one of our NATO partners, even if the products cost more. The…"
"Isn’t this included in Pillar # 3 above? I’ll admit, I know little about the technology here, so maybe it isn’t. But it looks like Exxon/Mobil is saying that these should be eliminated where feasible.
Feel free to…"
"I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing with the statements made by the two of you, but what is your basis for saying 20% is not enough? The industry can, and likely has, placed a $$ value for every step it can take. As you get past…"
Steve, I will be meeting with the editor of the Shreveport newspaper to discuss the possibility of a series of articles highlighting mineral owner concerns. I am considering including the Comstock units with multiple expired well permits. It would be helpful if I could ask you a few basic questions. If you are willing to help, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Steve, I fully agree with your reply in the recent Dr. Fine/Robert Johnson discussion. I would like to point out that Robert Johnson is not posting out of interest in a discussion but specifically to increase the "web presence" of Dr. Fine. I don't know if he gets paid or not but the fact that he never makes a reply in these discussion threads and "favorites" each one indicates that he is just pumping up the listing of entries for anyone searching Dr. Fine on the Internet. Keith and I have discussed it and doing so isn't against the site rules and occasionally there is one or more members who do reply so Robert has not been banned from posting to GHS. I'm not a big fan of this kind of activity but it is common on the web.
Thanks for the compliment....... it's wonders what makeup and good lighting can do!!!!!!....... I'm married to Marshal Wayne Whatley from Pineville,La. We've been married for 22 years. My first husband was Willie Junkin from Delhi, La. Willie and I divorced in 1979, and Wayne and I were married in 1988.
Good hearing from you Steve. Hope things are well. I guess I look at this as lagniappe. If it comes, it comes. Just a little extra. But if it doesn't, I'm okay. What part of California. I spent my Navy time in San Diego.
Hello! I hope the site is a place for to learn, network and contribute. My name is Keith and I started the site in June of 2008 to open up lines of communication between landowners. We now have over 10,000 members.
As exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More
