A well site is being prepared West of Kickapoo on Hwy 5 just south of Westwood Dr across from Meadow Lake Estates, is this in Section 19 and or is this the well they was going to put in Sec 19 and drill in Sec 30?

With them down do that mean the well was a bust?
No, that doesn't mean it was a bust, just they are thru drilling, now they will frac it. There is already another pad being prepared, it is in section 18. A little past the Boy Scout entrance on the opposite side of 171. In the back of the field, just past the wooded section. Looks to be a pretty big pad. You can't see it from the road, you have to walk to the back of the field and thru the wooded area. It is in the corner, mostly on 18, but could drill section 7, 8, 17, or 18.
Bob, has the dirt work started for pad or just surveyed and staked?
Yes, the dirt work is almost completed, the stake for the cellar is in section 18, but could go to any of these other sections. You can also get to it off of Long Rd., it's off of the road for Ben Land well in 17. It's ready for cement and rock.
I can't place where you are talking about in Sec. 18. Can you see it from Hwy 171? Is it near Meadow Dr. Is it on east or west side of Hwy 171? Ben Land's land is on east side of 171 in Sec. 17. I didn't know that Sec. 18 crossed Hwy 171 and went east into Ben's Land
Section 18 extends east across US171, about 1200 feet. The pad is on the east side of 171. You can't see the pad from US171 because of the trees. I may take a walk tomorrow.
Just north of the entrance to the Boy Scout ranch on the east side of 171, you'll see tracks where they took the equipment back, thru the edge of the hay field. Just beyond the trees about 100 yards from 171, give or take. We walked it a couple of times, hell comin back. We live in section 18, on Meadow Dr.
that explains the big dirt and gravel trucks going down that rd. last week. I just didn't realize that Sec. 18 crossed that far east across Hwy 171
You can go to "maps" in this section and click on the one that says GeoCommunicator, it will show all the section lines. This pad is in the corners of these 4 sections, 7, 8, 17, 18. The cellar is in 18, but it could go anywhere.
