Skip,

Please elaborate on what this means. The proposed site is close to me, but I do not understand what a "production waste treatment facility" can mean for this area.
Use the following link to email the Office of Conservation for details on this application.

FXEF,

I live just north of Hwy 5, so please let me know when you find out what all this entails.

Thanks,
Linda
Linda, I just received a reply from the LOC, blow is the body of the email.

First of all I apologize for the late response as I am just now receiving this correspondence. The notice you reference pertains to Select Energy Services proposing to construct and operate a E&P waste treatment facility where mud and drill cuttings would be brought to the facility and the fluids separated from the solids by means of mechanical phase separation. As proposed, no E&P waste would be stored or disposed of on-site. It is intended for the fluids to be placed into a pipeline and disposed of across the border in Joaquin by deep well injection while the solids would be trucked to an approved disposal facility or landfill. Any oil remaining from the process would be reclaimed and sold back to market.

As of this time, this office has not received the actual permit application.
