Noticed in today's paper that Chesapeake has filed to be operator in this sec. No surprise as they have all the leases; however I never found the filing in Dept. of Conserv. Anyone have any updates on this area

The pad has been ready a couple of months. I can't find it on SONRIS either and none of the wells in the Times have a S/N listed. Where does the Times get their information?
It hit Sonris this afternoon. I pulled the info up on DNR. It was from way back in Feb. I must have missed it then.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
