I know how to check Sonris for outstanding drilling permits. But how do you determine what sections in the various parishes have been unitized?

If you use the interactive maps, one of the layers you can turn on is "Haynesville Shale Units."

This is a quick, graphical answer to at least part of your question.
mike, there is no list. Some of us have been tracking the unit application since the beginning of the Play and we do so by checking the Commissioner's Public Hearing schedule on the DNR website and compiling our own list.

If you want to know about a specific section, or area, just ask, and one of us will consult our records and try to answer. But, as Skip said, this info is not easily available on sonris. The only way I know to find out, say, about a field is to go through the schedule of hearings and pull up all hearings for that field, to see which sections are unitized.
