Question? When a lease expires and the company sends a new lease to be sign without the current date or year and refuse to change it what reasons could they have for doing this?

LaMetra - This might not be enough information to help get your question answered. Could you be more specific about the terms of the old lease, maybe the date it was signed/filed, too. It might also be helpful if you could identify the company/operator who is the lessor and the S-T-R.

As for the reason(s) the company may have for not changing what you've asked, you might want to ask them that question. IF you get an answer, please let us know. lol

LaMetra,
Whatever you do, don't sign anything until you understand 100% of what you are signing. The fact that you stopped, and asked the question here, is a great first step.
I imagine that the lessee would like you to re-lease the property to them on the same terms as the original lease. Whether you do is your decision. And, they sent it undated, likely because until signed, there is no date of execution, thus, were you to sign it, you then put in the date and initial it, as Hardage stated.
Wouldn't happen to be them exercising their option to extend the original lease by chance?

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
