Can anyone tell us what's going on with the Bennett well. From FM 354 you can see a crane next to a large pipe with a "birds nest"? type apparatus near the top. The pipe extends well above the tree line. On occassion you can see smoke/gas come from the top sides of the pipe. You can also smell an odor if the wind blows in our direction. (If any one is familiar with Pasadena Tx refineries it is similar odor). You can see the crane hoist a man to the birds nest area to work. This has been going on for the past month. Can anyone tell us what this is all about.
Bad news from the Bennett Gu #1H............ One of the landowners told me yesterday looks like the well will be capped off. They have worked for weeks to try and fix the well without success. It has already cost more than the well would ever make !!!!!!
What happened to it?
The well stopped up.... When they tryed to unstop it twisted something off in the hole. They have worked day and night for weeks NO LUCK !!!!!
Thank you for info Doug. Any news you hear in the area around 354/21 is appreciated. Do you know why they are filling the pond on 354?
