HI Gator, I am also interested in the Whitten #2.  I have 53 acres on Horn Rd.  I am receiving calls to purchase my land.  Is there some big development or something planned near Hwy 5 & Horn Rd?  I live in Houston now & have no idea what is going on????

Comstock has five Whitten wells permitted in S22-T12N-R16W. Hang in there, and do not sell unless you need the cash, most likely your royalty on 5 HA wells will be quite nice.

Thanks FXEF.  I keep telling these people who want to buy my land  that I will not include mineral rights and they tell me they know that but still want the land.  I just signed right of way for the pipeline to cross about one acre of my land.  I  have no idea why there is such a push to buy up the land if the minerals are not included.  I thought maybe some big shopping center must be coming.
