There is a new drilling rig up in Waskom, TX (Harrison Co) on West Texas Street (Hwy 80)

I was sent a picture of the rig. It looks like the usual ng drilling rig but the drillers told a Waskom police officer that they were drilling for oil.

Anyone know anything about it?

LP, it could be Shelby Operating.  They have a permit for the O'Banion #1 (directional), oil or gas, in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) to 9800'.  It looks to be on the NW side of town.
