Where it becomes painfully clear is when it is a joint venture and you compare royaltys. It is larcency plain and simple.

I think anyone who reads this forum and who is leased by CHK and hasn't gotten a well is likely more worried/afraid that CHK will drill a well than worried about getting CHK to renew their lease..

I know that Petrohawk does not deduct costs out of royalty payments. And as far as the CHK boycott, when the Magnolia vs Chesapeake goes to trial in Federal Court in Shreveport, all royalty owners that are pissed at Chesapeake should show up on the courthouse steps the morning of the trial and protest with signs and everything. Maybe that will get the media's attention!!!
Need the justice dept. attention. They seem to ignore complaints about chk.
I wish I knew how to warn new lease signers. CHK is always worried about their community or their reputation, well I wish everyone could read how they cheat the landowner
yes, anyone who signs a new lease with chk is not thinking too good. At least they got rid of the ceo , mcLendon who was bankrupting the company..

I wish i knew what i know now. Chesapeake would not have one of my leases. the others i did not have much choice. And I knew the broker for them was lying and i still signed at a higher price, but if i knew what i do now the price would never be high enough.
