Devon location is off county road 4505. Not really a big location but is much bigger then the XTO locations.

  Old timers still talk about that Blow Out as if it were yesterday and think it burned the rig down and I have seen the locations and just to give you an idea how hung-up they are on that exact area there are now 4 different locations in that same cow pasture but none have been successful YET.

  You would think maybe the Houston County Courier would have an archive story about the blowout back in 1980 or so.

Here is a link of all the well that blew out in Texas. Was it the Cook well that blew?

It was the Conoco-Louis Cook #1 in 1981 and I didn't see it on the list.

Right they managed to keep that first deep Bossier pretty quite ---- seems that the #2 also had a blow-out issue as well

May depend on when the next lease expiration was, or an attempt to prove up acreage.  Not uncommon early on in a play.  FYI Treadstone filed a W-2 didn't notice the well name 299 bbls/oil, 2500 bbls of water roughly.

  I did not know that Trivium had any acreage in that part of the county ?  after locating on the plat it seems to be on CR 4025 and may be an offset to XTO "Abbey Road" ?    ---- looks like the surveying was done on 10/6/12 so they are moving on along ----- location appears to be several miles west of Shady Grove but well east of hwy 19 -------------- Many months back we determined that Terrace/Trivium was made-up of ex-XTO people so they may be collaborating ?

 That Treadstone well name was "Shelly" it is in the same survey with the "Parten Dexter H"

  top of the pay was abt  9200'

Hello Andrew,

  Don't think the completion report is out on that one yet but since it is a vertical with the ability for commingled  multi-zones I doubt that all zones have been fraced yet -------- I do know that about 10 loads of water per day during daylight hrs have been coming out of there which is hopefully frac water returns and not formation water.  Hearing that the Basin rig that has been working for Burk is coming to work for Interstate asap and Interstate has big plans to employ 3 rigs at the same time? also hearing that Interstate is moving fwd with its plans to buy ROW for flow lines etc.
