We've had lots of practice, Judy. The play has matured but this site has always slowed down in the summer after school let out. We have had an "Out of Gas" group (don't know where Keith stuck those discussions on the last remodel) & hunting groups, sports discussions, fishing, politics (off the main page). You name it and we have probably covered it at one time or another. People have real lives that take them out of doors until fall but they will be back. For sure when they hear about you sharing your good fortune with 8 wells and all.
Recently heard that there will be uptick in activity in Haynesville in the next 6 months? Can anyone comment on this?
The uptick, for lack of a better term, began months ago. It is difficult for many to see because it looks different this time around. Operators are now permitting and drilling "cross unit laterals" in an effort to drive down the cost of producing an mcf. Fewer wells drilling longer laterals. A single horizontal well for multiple units as opposed to one for each. This appears to be the future of HS development.
