George, can you find out who "they" is? Or a lease/well name? I haven't seen a rig reported in Smith Co. in quite a while so a little detective work might be needed. If you can find out who the operator is I can go look up their permits to see what's going on. No rigs are reported working up there as of last Friday.

A few days ago Ntex ran an ad on landmen.net looking for landmen to work Central Texas their address was Flint, TX.

The operator is Trivium Operating, and two wells in Smith Cty, in 10/13 near Overton and Chapel Hill. These were "stacked" wells.

These are two vertical wells and are only "stacked" in the sense that they have permitted everything down to 12,000' including "Wildcat". They may complete more than one interval which is not uncommon in a vertical well.

Report is that Trivium just sold off a bunch of assets in other areas to EOG.  Not sure if these sites would be in that mix or not.
