I have been searching for a chat room similar to this site about the Mancos shale in New Mexico. Anybody know of one? I would like to see what the local buzz is.

That is the way it works here. Someone has to get the ball rolling. New plays (or old plays in new areas) sometimes take a little time to catch fire. I know New Mexico and W. Tx. have a play that straddles their common boundary but this "Mancos Shale" appears to be something else in a different area which I have not heard much about. Could be interesting.
not sure about all the hype...EnCana USA is about broke; hit real hard by $2 natural gas; major layoffs and such;
probably looking for the next big play..... to boost shares and rally the shareholders;
most big companies need one exaggerated play after another, to keep the investors and banks on the hook;
proceed with caution !
