Skip, the first well is only 720 acres ( not 9720), and it seems small compared to all the others.  Any ideas/info other than maybe lack of leases.

9720 is what you get instead of (720) when you miss the shift key while hitting the 9 key.  LOL!  Thanks for the correction.  In general operators seemed unsure of what the state would approve when they first applied to form TMS units.  They knew they needed to be sized and shaped for the horizontal wells they planned to drill.  As the state approved the larger units without question, the TMS operators started applying for larger units.  The requirement to capitalize wide spread drilling operations over extensive unconventional prospects has caused E&P companies to push for the largest units they can get approved.  It's a matter of holding as much acreage as possible with the fewest wells.
