Corrections to royalty years in the past!

Hi,

Does anyone else have corrections in their monthly royalty statements for months that are years in the past? I do. My current royalty statement makes multiple corrections for a particular well as far back as 2008. This happens repeatedly for the same well and for other wells also.

Roland, it is helpful for those members who may wish to reply to your question to know where the minerals are located.  Laws governing the payment of royalties due on producing mineral interests vary by state.

Ronald.  I think you may have a better chance of receiving replies if you post on the Shelby County Group page.  I'm not up on the appropriate Texas law(s) in regard to your question.
