It seems "Fortress Management LLC" has password protected their website. Wondering if that means they have info to protect. Any ideas or logic to apply here?

Same way with Griffith Land Services.
Looks like they went into hiding as well!
I'll take two cards please!
Heard that. LOL
Hey Earl, most of them are out of work and don't have anything else to do but poke around online. They may get a lead on something to do on GHS.
Are these leasing companies who has gone into hiding going to be sending out those 1099 forms to those they leased?
I hope Jim Davis with Tower Hill is having toenails for supper
Did Tower Hill ever honor thier leases in the doyline area?
I am thinking that with the toenail sandwich comment, Its a definate No!
No they didn't honor any Doyline leases, I'm glad they didn't honor them for my wallets sake, but I still would have liked a chance to hand their check back. Here's the deal: I had an old uncle that had signed a letter of intent with maybe Argent, but Tower Hill offered a several hundred more dollars an acre and no percentage off the top. He voided his previous offer and went with Tower Hill. Not the end of the story. That was in May I think. His neighbors and family that stayed with Argent got paid, yes got paid in North Webster Parish none the less. My uncle passed away in November. He had two fords and a dodge that he parked in front off the house and there's several of us family members that would have like to seen him add one of them Cadillac Trucks to his fleet. I think they should be held accountable for all of them pieces paper they passed out like circus flyers. I'm a whole different story, I was lied to by so many landboys that the next person I deal with will probably be handcuffed to gate post until a check is produced. You ever noticed that you never see these cats at Wal-mart, Brookshires, Ballgames, Bowling Alley's or Church. Must be a nice life. I take that back about church, I did hear about a combination preacher/landman that slipped in and signed his parents for $500 an acre right before the HS announcement. I bet his commision was Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Thanks for your response muddigger. Tower Hill did not pay me either. They would always say the money was guaranteed on the phone but they never paid. I was just wondering if other people were treated as unfairly as I was. I guess our signed agreement was about as worthless as the paper that it was written on.
Muddigger,
I'm sorry that so many people have been hurt by something that should be such a blessing. I hope your uncle is smiling in heaven when his family signs for double what he was offered.
