The amounts in the mailed offers to purchase royalty have greatly increased recently. Is there any new activity? We are in the southwest portion of the county.

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on August 21, 2019 at 12:35 Not sure what the offer amounts are that are referenced here but generally speaking offers to buy minerals have taken a significant downturn since the first of the year along with the price of natural gas. I am temporarily advising clients to delay soliciting purchase offers or accepting the lowered offer amounts. Only in dire need of fast cash should anyone be considering a sale at this time.
