I own mineral rights in Panola and Rusk Counties.  I always get mail from companies wanting to buy the rights, but they are vague and I usually don't pay much attention.  But suddenly I'm getting VERY large offers for my rights in one particular unit which has not been all that prolific in producing natural gas or oil.  I wonder whether it's because of the possibilities of lithium extraction.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Landmen all over around here like ants at a picnic.  Think are 79 and 31  Texas. Panola Co.

What is going on does anybody know?  What are the bonus offers?

KKR investments announced purchase of Samson on 11/23/11 to close by Dec 31..there is no news at all regarding this deal since then.  Does anybody know if the safe completed?

Julia, if your land wasn't included in the drilling unit there would not be a reason to contact you.  Even if you are in the unit, the next likely contact you would have (after lease signing) would be the division order unless you also own surface needed for a drill site or gathering line.
