I am curious if this is of any interest to people. I track upcoming hearings regularly and maintain my internal map. Would there be interest in seeing something like this updated bi-weekly or monthly?
No error message. Regardless of where in the blue link I click, I am returned to the same page I started with. Maybe another member will be able to provide some feedback.
What operating system and browser are you using? Do you have pop ups blocked or any security settings that would prevent links from working?
If you right-click on the link in the body of the message, you can try open the linked file in a new window or tab or download the linked file. If you download the linked file and open it on your computer, do the links work?
I should note that the links are not active in the image file in the body of the post. You need to open the linked PDF file.
I have tested and confirmed the links in the PDF file work on the following systems and browser:
If you have tried downloading the linked PDF file and opening it on your computer and are still unable to navigate to the links, what PDF reader are you using?
windows and firefox. We've never had a problem with either. No pop up blocker in use. I don't think we have many using Safari. I just tried it and it still is not working. Let's wait and see if some other members weigh in.
You have to click the link in the original message. That brings up the PDF file. Clicking on the "picture" will not work.

I will note that this section is bracketed by a BPX operated HA unit to the north and an EXE HA unit to the south. If neither of those operators are willing to allow an HC well under the multiple operators per unit allowance, do you think we will see more of these U-Turn wells in those specific instances?

EXCO has allowed this in the past. 015-14N-14W is an EXCO unit but it has a fault running through it. EXCO has wells (sections 10-15)in the North side of the fault and Comstock has wells in the south (sections 15-22-27).
Yes, this is not the first application for a U-Turn well however this particular location does not appear to have a fault on my maps. It appears to be a case of Comstock not having the ability to drill an HC well because of the adjoining units.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
