I love what everyone on the site has to offer, but aren't there some folks that you just perk up and listen when they have something to say?

Ann,

You are right about opposites attracting. We have many fine people on GHS that are positive and upbeat. Then on the opposite spectrum we have several people that are negative at every turn. Still, we attract each other. Seems the fun-loving people and fuddy duddies always find each other. We really are a parasitic bunch, feeding off of both joy and misery!

I second that one Jack Blake!
I don't want to get left out of naming the folks on this website who have been most useful to me as I try to absorb everything I can regarding the Bossier/Haynesville Shale. They are, in no particular order: Shale Geo, Les B, Dion Warr, K.B., Skip, Jay Murrell, and lastly, Buck, who I've very much come to appreciate for what he adds. There are others who bring various forms of entertainment to the site, but I can watch TV or go to the Strand Theater for that. It is not what I'm here for. Every one of us , in one form or another, have a financial reason for being on this site, imho. To Shale Geo, Les B, Dion Warr, K. B., Skip, Jay Murrell and Buck......thanks for what you do. I probably should add mmaarrk or however he spells it.
Thank you for your favorable comment ... I'm truly humbled ... I would rather the accolades, encouragement & support go toward those trying to bring us expertise & knowledge. Otherwise, as someone once advised, those of us without it would be running around sounding deranged. :0)

Periodically, I look back in my own archive of posts and take a measure of how I'm doing ... some things I posted early on that sound perhaps silly now ... but at the time I needed expert, knowledgeable answers. Many of these folks came through, and stick around to go through more.
