Les,

I notice some of these IP rates are substantially lower than others that have been reported. (Not saying they aren't great wells) However, is Chesapeake doing anything to limit the amount of gas produced due to low prices?
Scott, Chesapeake and others have stated they plan to "choke back" flow due to the pricing environment and some gathering/treating capacity limitations. This is evident by the smaller choke sizes and high flowing pressures for some wells.
What is the point of reporting wells that have production numbers and pressures as N/A? They do this all the time in the Pine Island and Bellevue fields.
CMK, I don't know why the newspaper omits these values as the pressure is available on the well potential test report.
I've never asked that specific question but thought the n/a referred to less than one barrel per day. That level of production is not unusual in the shallow formations of the Caddo Pine Island Field.
I have also seen IP reports of 1 BPD etc. and the first month's cumulative production will be 1000 barrels or more.
That's good to know, Checkmateking. By LOC reports, you'd think operators in the Caddo Pine Island Field were there to produce water as the barrels of oil to H20 are often 1/250+.
Having some production in the PIne Island field, this has always been the bane of oil wells there, but sometimes you'll get lucky I have seen a few Nacatoch and Chalk wells that could have made a man a millionaire many times over (going steady for 30+ years in some instances) too bad they are so damn lenticular.
Look up Serial #503 on SONRIS. It was spud 2-21-1918. Three Sisters is still getting production.
Wow Les, I am pretty good friends with some of the 3 sister's heirs, needless to say they have done very well.

I just looked at the well you mentioned, just mind numbing. One in a million there.
LOL, CMK. It is always a pleasure to be confused with Les B.
