Chesapeake has just applied for 19 new Haynesville Units for the Pleasant Hill Field in T10N-R12W & R13W. Fifteen of these units are in Sabine Parish.

With these and other recent applications the total number of Haynesville Units has reached 1494 and cover almost one million acres. Parish breakdown is as follows:

DeSoto - 536
Caddo - 312
Red River - 235
Bossier - 158
Sabine - 131
Bienville - 89
Natchitoches - 23
Webster - 10

did a drilling co recently apply for units just south of ajax? also we were told that encana plans several wells near messenger. some of the units proposed are west of i 49.
I can't tell from the map, are these units west of pleasant hill?
OldDog, yes - these units are due west of Pleasant Hill.
WILL THEY GO FURTHER SOUTH
Joe, I am not sure about Chesapeake but others may move further south. A successful well has already been drilled in T9N-R12W and information indicates EnCana is forming units in T8N-R11W.
