Trust no one!!! I have a oil /gas lease that was constructed by an oil and gas lawyer 4 years ago, it is out of date. I have taken it to another o&g lawyer for an update. There are court cases that have changed what used to be protected. I should have this info Tuesday at Timpson meeting 9/5/08 Don't sign a standard lease!

North East Shelby Co. south of 999 two miles east of Rusk Co. I was approached with 7500 . When I ask the man why would a oil co. have a pipeline constructed to a well site that has not been drilled? He said yes we know it is there. Holding out is one thing but when an oil/gas well comes in well the rent goes up. I'll wait.

I AM IN ALEASE NOW THAT WILL EXPIRE BEFORE END OF THE YEAR BUT THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RESIGN ME SINCE JAN. BUT OFFERS ARE WAY UNDER WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING, ON HERE FOR SHELBY COUNTY. NEED A REALLY GOOD O&G LAWYER TO ASSIT ME BUT HAVE HEARD MOST IN THE AREA ARE OR HAVE BEEN RETAINED BY BIG COMPANIES, SO WOULDNT KNOW WHO TO TRUST. WHAT IS THE EST NEWSPAPER TO PULL UP DOWN THERE I CANNOT GET THE CENTER PAPER.
