Anyone have any first hand or 'eyeball' knowledge about: Murray, Olympia or Harris 19, all SWEPI wells? SONRIS information is vague. I want to know what's going on and don't live close enough to see for myself. I have read here that SWEPI has requested new units though. I would guess that is a good sign, but I want to know more from feet on the ground, in the area.

It sure would be great to get first hand knowledge from people working around these sites. the truck drivers, engineers, drillers, cement workers, etc, they have to know something. They, the workers, must be eating, drinking, playing, sleeping somewhere. They must drop hints, even with a confidentiality clause, everyone will slip a hint eventually.
Aren't there any investigative reporters down there?

I guess I am looking for 'field espionage', 'well chatter'.

I know 'SWEPI' and the other O&G companies are keeping this info close to the chest but we also have the right to get the information any way we legally can.

SG, was this public or private information? If public can you provide the source?
Probably what SWEPI told them, they don't want anything of extreme value known. Last I heard there was something was stuck down hole. Also heard that it had 16000 pounds of pressure.
Jay it may be just a hunch but I think the well is much better. I have been down in that neck of the woods for over five years. They don't have all the leasehold bought that they want and don't want the price to go much above what they are paying now. If it would be Chessapeake then my thoughts may be different but SWEPTI has been real tight in what they pay and only went up when they were forced to.
Olympia is only the ones that hold the minerals. Not the company that will drill.
Yep, SWEPI is tight, and they have to have to be forced. That is my experience anyway.
Hope I am right also. I have been snooping for a long time and I just get the feeling that things are getting better to the South and East.
SG, I think it is reliable. EnCana showed this well at > 5 MMcfd in one of their presentations.
You are right Linda also you can keep your ears open at the Pleasant Hill Petroleum Club when the oil workers are on their cell phones.
Now that's what I am talking about...we don't have to rely on SWEPI to find out what's going on. There are other ways, and some of them can be fun. A little ear jockeying is always an option also.
just curious what s-t-r these wells are innnnnnnnn? thanks
thanks ms. jo ann
SWEPI recently requested unitization of several sections though. Something is going on. They know something. One of those workers will squeak, they just have to be nudged a little. My section was not one of the ones requested though, broke my heart.
