Biden's secret weapon to cleaning up energy is spelled FERC
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulates interstate NG pipelines, the power grid, and other areas of the world of energy and energy transmission. There are currently two Democrats and three Republicans on the Commission. That will change this summer when the five year term of one of the Republicans expires, and President Biden will appoint a replacement. The story below lays out most of the issues.
