She sold the 20 acres for $20,000 per acre.
What a deal.
Good for her!

Henry, do you know when CHK will start their alternate wells for  these sections(13-28).

We have minerals in sec. 21. Also, in sec. 21 of 14/15, I noticed that Tauren had assigned their leases to Cubic Energy. Tauren has a shallow well that has been producing oil & condensate. Only a portion of the owners in that section are participating in that well. Very confusing. I can't figure out why Tauren would assign to Cubic when Tauren has had this shallow for years

Interesting. Do you have any info on that shallow well in 21 14/15? I have talked to Tauren and they said only some of the people in that section leased in 1998. Would that be considered a wildcat? Anyway to participate in that well now.
Jay, in Desoto Records it shows that Exco & BG Production assigned 49% of their leases in 21  14/15 to Cubic or Tauren. Why would they do that
Kittycatmama, the wells Henry referred to were down south in T10N, R13W, Sections 13-28.
Thanks Spring Branch. I just looked back & you were the one noting the alternate wells in Bethany Longstreet Field 14/15

KCM,

No clue.  I just saw the filings with the state.  No permits have been filed yet.

These are straight west of Encana's gas factories in the Holly Field. Holly Field ends with sections 6,7,18,19 of 14/14 and then the Bethany Longstreet starts where Chesapeake is doing its alternate wells & yes, the major pipelines cut right through this area. Everything is in place from heightened productivity to infrastructure

Here is a map of DeSoto parish pipeline infrastructure.

WOW Fxef that is awesome

The History of GoHaynesvilleShale.com

GoHaynesvilleShale.com (GHS) was launched in 2008 during a pivotal moment in the energy industry, when the Haynesville Shale formation—a massive natural gas reserve lying beneath parts of northwest Louisiana, east Texas, and southwest Arkansas—was beginning to attract national attention. The website was the brainchild of Keith Mauck, a landowner and entrepreneur who recognized a pressing need: landowners in the region had little access to…
