Our family has property in or close to the Haynesville Project at R16W. Curious if there has been any new interest in this area?

Russell, is referring to Section 13 - 11N - 16W.  Comstock has some alternate unit well approvals about 5 mile north but nothing current as far south as your section.

there seems to be a barren island of no HA wells around Stanley, DeSoto Parish.  Southern tier of T12N, R15W and northern tier of 11N 15W.  There are a few Haynesville wells surrounding that strip, but they don't seem to be very good HA wells.  And most of those sections are held (with 1/8 royalty) by old Petit and Hosston wells.  Maybe questionable if these old wells are producing in paying quantities. But the minerals seem to be held, and no one seems to be interested in drilling an HA well.

Any geologists (or anyone, for that matter) know why this area is unappealing for Haynesville wells?
