Jim,

They aren't registered with RRC as "Minichi" so they aren't operating under that name in Texas. Maybe they bought out someone else... name and all. There were nearly 12K registered operators at the end of May so... anyone want to guess?

Their Predator Drilling System doesn't appear to be capable of drilling any horizontal  AC or TMS wells on the Anadarko leasehold.

Any info on WHERE in Pt Coupee the acreage is located?

I would guess at least a portion lies in the Lacour Field.  Some of the Point Coupee group members could probably expand on that.

Minishi is a "specialized" highway bridge builder about like they are an E&P operator. These aren't bridges. They're buggy trails. That's it!!! Minishi is the Amish Mafia!!!

Most of the original Anadarko leases would be expired by now. There were options to extend the lease. Only the units held by production would be still valid so what did they buy?

Whatever Andadrko mineral rights are still in force.  As you say, probably limited to leases Held By Production in producing units.

There are problems with this report.  All the Anadarko leases in Pointe Coupee have expired.  I checked this out before and found I could not contact Minichi.  I looked it up and it was a vacant lot in Pennsylvania.  Minichi appeared to be using the expired leases to beef up their local reputation in that state and the Marcellous gas fields in the Northeast USA.  They are concrete contractors that bought a modern work over rig to be used up there.  So I suspect they do not have a clue about Louisiana and Austin Chalk/Tuscaloosa Trend strata's nor do they have the capital or equipment to drill those areas.
