skip, as always thanks for posting this item each week.
what's your take on apc's filing for all of those alt wells? after all, they've got somewhere around 12 nearby drilling units pending approval. so, it's not like they don't have other area opportunities.
thanks, jim
Not sure, Jim. There are no serial numbers for the wells as they haven't been entered in the database and at least one appears to be a duplicate of an earlier permit.
Cindy, I don't have time right now to go back through the other discussion for details. Just tell me which of the wells in this list you are interested in please.
Cindy, your unit papers should give you some answers. How big is the unit? Does the unit contain both sections 3 & 10? Are there two units, one set up for section 3, and one set up for section 10?
Cindy, the well name indicates the section from which the lateral will produce. In the case of ha ra sub; Rinaudo 3, 001-alt that would be Section 3.
Cindy, when you say, "lease", are you referring to an Oil, Gas And Mineral Lease? Or to a lease for surface use?
It is confusing when you speak of the lease but do not reference whether it is the O,G & M lease or the surface/subsurface lease. The Rinaudo 3 is Alternate Unit well #1 being the second well in the section/HA RA SUBB (the Times is known for their typos). The unit well or first well for HA RA SUBB is the Brasch Family 3. Have you asked why EXCO can not drill the alternate from that surface location? I think you should go see the O&G attorney soon to get clarification on the language, "shall not be unreasonably withheld".
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
